It's the end of the office as we know it (and I feel fine)

The traditional office is gone.

The new office is the coffee shop, the golf course, the bar, wherever.  With wireless access and a cell phone you are good to go.  I'm proof.  Over the past few days I have conducted business from my car, from a coffee shop, at a client site, at home, at a networking event and while feeding the dog.

A great series of articles on this very topic is from Herman Miller.  Visit 9 Ways of Working.

So, where do you work?

You're so right, John. Not only is the tradtional office gone, but the tradition 9 to 5 is gone too. I work where ever and whenever as long as I have a computer and my pda.

I agree. Great blog! I am glad the traditional office is gone, working wherever and whenever leads to more creative thinking.
